About the Artwork
“Memory of Fire” explores inner strength, the acceptance of one’s ancestral roots, and the clarity needed to follow one’s own path. The tree, with its roots extending deep into the earth, becomes an image of ancestral memory, continuity, and support. The eye at the centre of the sacred circle symbolises inner vision — the ability to remain focused, recognise what truly matters, and stay true to one’s direction.
The stream of fire rising as if from the depths of the earth conveys the awakening of vital energy. Joined with the strength of the roots, this energy emerges into the outer world as determination, inner fire, and a readiness to claim one’s place in life.
